Despite a strong campaign last year that saw him third in the standings, former champion Bryan Staring was convinced his career had come to an end after being left without a ride for the current 2023 Mi-Bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK). A last-minute call-up from MotoGo Yamaha proved to be a change of fate for the Western Australian, however the deal didn’t come without hesitation.
