The Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP team has called on Senna Agius once more to compete in the Moto2 World Championship in place of the injured Darryn Binder, with the Australian to line-up this weekend at Le Mans.

Agius, 17, delivered a standout opening round of the European Moto2 Championship at Estoril last weekend, qualifying on pole and taking two race wins with the Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP Junior Team.

Prior to the commencement of the European championship, Agius filled in for the injured Binder at Jerez and ultimately completed the event 21st in the intermediate class.

“So excited to be here in Le Mans,” Agius shared. Thanks to Intacy GP for another opportunity to be here in the world championship but still wishing Darryn Binder all the best with recovery. “Track looks unreal.. can’t wait to start the weekend.”

The French GP is set to mark Agius sixth start in the world championship, filling in for the injured Sam Lowes at the Elf Marc VDS Racing team on four occasions last year with a best result of P9 at Valencia.
