A maiden Isle of Man TT podium was one of the highlights of Josh Brookes 2023 outing at the iconic event with the Australian finishing third in Supertwin race two.

Riding a Kawasaki ER-6f in the category, Brookes narrowly missed out on a second-place result in the encounter as he was just over two seconds shy of Pierre Yves Bian, the race ultimately won by Peter Hickman.

Amidst his outings throughout the event, Brookes also finished fifth in the Senior TT and competing with the Monster Energy by FHO Racing BMW outfit he clocked a PB 132.5 mph lap in the process.

Hickman was the winner also of the Senior TT, marking his fourth victory in what was a record-breaking week for the Monster Energy by FHO Racing BMW rider.

Alongside Brookes, Australians competing in the 2023 Isle of Man TT included Rennie Scaysbrook and David Johnson. Scaysbrook (Wilson Craig Racing) experienced his share of misfortune throughout the event, but emerged safe and notably finished the second Superstock race in 31st, bettering his result in terms of position from race one in the category where he was 34th.

Johnson (C&L Fairburn Properties Jackson Racing) finished eighth in the Senior TT, also landing top 10 results in Supersport race two, Superstock race one and Supersport race one.
