P2 in the 2023 24H Spa EWC Motos marked the second podium of the season for the reigning Endurance world champions Josh Hook and F.C.C. TSR Honda France, the squad just a single point from the top of the standings following round two.

Starting from fourth place on the grid, Hook made a great start, immediately joining the front group and battling for first place during the opening hours of the race.

The team delivered a series of fast stints and constant lap times, but entering the last quarter of the race, a technical issue surrounding the exhaust, forced the F.C.C. TS to enter the pits for five minutes and rejoin into third place.

Despite a few drops of rain at the end of the race, the outfit did not let up in their efforts and claimed another podium finish in P2.

“We had an excellent start to the race with some good battles and some fast stints,” Hook recalled. “Unfortunately, we had a technical issue surrounding the exhaust, but we can be satisfied with the weekend. Everyone did a great job to help us gain as many points as possible for the championship.”

F.C.C. TSR Honda France is second in the standings after collecting 54 points, with a total of 117, just one point behind race winner and championship leader YART Yamaha. The next round will be held from 4- 6 August, the Suzuka 8 Hours in Japan.
