It was a strong showing at Morgan Park for round five of the 2023 Mi-Bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) for Yamaha Racing Team’s Mike Jones. The Queenslander fought hard across both races to finish the day P2 overall. For teammate Cru Halliday, a solid fourth place in the opening race was the highlight as he wrapped up the round with P5 overall. In the Supersport category, it was a career first overall win for Olly Simpson, while Cameron Swain took Supersport 300 class honours.
