Provisional 22-round 2024 MotoGP calendar uncovered

Championship set to expand further again next season.

A provisional 22-round 2024 MotoGP World Champioship calendar has been uncovered, set to take place from March to November in what marks another expanded season.

After the championship commenced at Portimao in 2023, Lusail will return as the season-opening venue next year on 8-10 March, with round 22 to be contested at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia, on 15-17 November.

The Kazakhstan GP is subject to contract and homologation, with the round at Sokol International Racetrack to take place on 14-16 June, while the Indian GP at Buddh International Circuit on 20- 22 September is subject to contract. A Hungarian GP at the Balaton Park Circuit has been named as a reserve event.

In total 18 countries are set to host rounds next season, and the Australia GP at Phillip Island will take place in a similar timeslot on 18-20 October. Absent from the 2023 calendar, Aragon returns for 2024 to host round 14 between 30 August – 1 September.
