Heavily European-based campaign outlined for next year.
The provisional 2024 Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) calendar has been released, featuring 12 rounds and two new venues.
As previously announced, Phillip Island will again host the opening round, between 23 – 25 February to commence the season in Australia.
For the first time since 1990, Hungary is on the WorldSBK calendar with the all-new Balaton Park Circuit, just an hour south west of the Hungarian capital of Budapest. It marks the first new venue of the season, and will be round eight between 23-25 August.
The Cremona Circuit in northern Italy on 20 – 22 September, round 10, marks the other new venue on the 2023 calendar. The season will conclude at Jerez, Spain, between 11-13 November. Notably Mandalika and Imola will be absent from next season in what is a heavily European-based calendar.
