Australian international Joel Kelso will remain in the Moto3 World Championship for 2025 after signing with the LevelUp MTA Racing Team aboard KTM machinery for next season.

It marks a reunion of sorts for the 21-year-old, who rode with the Alessandro Tonucci-managed organisation during 2018 and 2019 on arrival in Europe, and he will transfer across from his current BOE Motorsports team.

“I’m super happy to be back together and we had amazing results when we were together in the past,” Kelso said. “Now we will strive to fight for the championship. We have spoken many times, so now to finally get everything closed up and be ready for next year, I am really happy and excited for next year. I think we can do a really good job!”

Kelso has had a positive season to date, finishing fifth on two occasions in Portimao and Jerez, and currently sits seventh in the standings. Next year will see him join his fourth different team in four years of being a world championship regular.
