Phillip Island to feature as round 19 on 2025 MotoGP calendar.
The 2025 MotoGP World Championship calendar has been released, with the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix set for October 17-19 at the famed Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
Featuring a total of 22 rounds cross 18 countries, next season will include the return of Brno in Czechia and the debut of Balaton Park in Hungary.
Next year’s series will open with four flyaway rounds – Thailand (February 28-March 2), Argentina, United States and Qatar – before entering an extended stretch of European races through the mid-stages of the series.
Four more long-haul events will take place between rounds 17 to 20 – Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia – in the back-half of the season, with the series to wrap up at Valencia, Spain, from November 14-16.
There will be no less than four Australians on the grids across MotoGP (Jack Miller), Moto2 (Senna Agius) and Moto3 (Joel Kelso and Jacob Roulstone), with each of them already signing new contracts for the 2025 season – Miller poised for a switch from Red Bull KTM to the new Pramac Yamaha team.
