Broc Pearson (DesmoSport Ducati) – First overall:
That felt really good. To back up my win in the wet last round with a win in the dry here and then the round win. That was pretty special. The team have been working hard to give me the best possible chance to win and I feel like we’ve continued to build all season to get to this point. Charlie and Giulia, Ben and Ken, Troy [Bayliss] and Troy [Herfoss] have all been right behind me, and honestly, it’s fun to be in the box with them on race weekend, even if they’re only on the phone sometimes. We’re closing the gap at the front of the championship and with three races at The Bend, there’s plenty of opportunities for me to close the 10 points between myself and second in the championship.

Max Stauffer (Penrite Racing SBK) – 13th overall:
I don’t know what to say about this weekend, it started quite well and in all honesty, I felt okay coming off the back of the injury and was happy with fifth in qualifying. I was however disappointed with fourth in race one and was ready to make amends in race two. We made a small change to the bike and it seemed to make a world of difference for me, I felt so strong but unfortunately, a small mistake caused a really big high side for me and was also unfortunate to take out my teammate and great mate Cam [Dunker] and [Anthony West]. That was disappointing but I was pushing for a good result and these things happen. I’m glad everyone was okay and I look forward to the Bend in November.

Cameron Dunker (Penrite Racing SBK) – 11th overall:
Mixed weekend here at One Raceway in Goulburn. Overall we made some good steps forward and I felt good as the weekend progressed. I managed to get my first front row and first podium in the Superbikes, so I’m stoked about that. It was a bit of a shame about the last race though but we are all good and ready for the next one.

Cru Halliday (Yamaha Racing Team) – DNF:
I’m gutted, but I’m not any condition to be able to race at a level that is safe to myself and those on the track with me, so it’s best I sit this out. I was in considerable pain riding yesterday and it’s probably got a little sorer overnight, so I won’t be able to race today. My crash on Friday wasn’t huge or high speed, but it was a slow-motion high side that whacked me into the ground. My shoulder is hammered and a feel general soreness, but thankfully nothing is broken or majorly damaged, so I should be back for the final round at The Bend.

Mike Jones (Yamaha Racing Team) – Second overall:
Two out of three ain’t bad, it was just a shame that the other one was so bad. In the restart of the first race, the tyre had lost all temperature, and I had no traction when the race got under way again. It also highlighted a setup issue we had, and the guys were able to get on top of it for race two. Once that was sorted, I was faster on a new tyre in race two and much better after the restart, so thanks to the team for putting in the work between the races and finding the answers. The result in the first race was a real let down, as I needed a good result there to get as many points as possible on Josh [Waters] in the championship. I was able to get a couple back over the weekend, but not as many as I like, but we will head to the final round at The Bend and give it everything we have.
