Sydney Motorsport Park pencilled in for round two next year.
It’s been confirmed Sydney Motorsport Park will once again host the Mi-bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) under lights in 2025, with a two-day format scheduled for 28-29 March.
The announcement comes on the eve of the 2024 season finale at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia, indicating the Sydney venue will stage round of next year’s championship thanks to a renewed partnership with Destination NSW.
“The last two ASBK Sydney night races under lights at Sydney Motorsport Park have been magnificent spectacles, not only in terms of the adrenalin on track but the electric atmosphere that night races can produce,” said Motorcycling Australia CEO Peter Doyle.
“That X-factor makes the Sydney round a real jewel in the ASBK crown, so it goes without saying we’re delighted to be backing up again with the ASBK night race in 2025.”
The full 2025 calendar is expected to be made official in the coming weeks as this year’s title is set to be decided on Sunday.
