Iconic venue to host round six in condensed two-day format.
Phillip Island will continue to feature the Mi-bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) as a standalone weekend next year, where it’s slated to host round six on 6-7 September.
The round, which is in addition to the WorldSBK stop on 23-25 February where select ASBK classes will open the season, will once again be staged across a condensed two-day schedule.
“The ASBK championship has been held at the Philip Island Grand Prix Circuit since 1989, so the historical connection between the two is profound,” said Motorcycling Australia CEO Peter Doyle. “And it’s the buzz of regularly competing on one of the most iconic pieces of tarmac in global motorsport that keeps riders and teams coming back for more.
“The 2025 ASBK championship is shaping as another stellar season, particularly the September round as we approach the business end of the season.”
With two rounds locked in at Phillip Island alongside the confirmation of Morgan Park, Sydney Motorsport Park, and Queensland Raceway, the remainder of the 2025 calendar is yet to be announced.
