DesmoSport Ducati has unveiled its striking new 2025 livery this morning as pit-lane opens on the new Mi-Bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK).

The Gold Coast-based team of Ben Henry will continue to use what is a largely similar specification Panigale V4 R to what it used last year, but has introduced a revised electronics package.

It now features the addition of the ASBK-specification Motec electronics, which has been under development by the DesmoSport Ducati team. It’s part of a transition from Ducati’s homologated Magnetti Marelli Superstock specification ECU, which is understood to no longer be in production.

DesmoSport will continue to field Broc Pearson this season, with his bike also featuring significant Elite Roads branding – the Deon Coote-owned Victorian construction company that has been behind ER Motorsports with Penrite backing since 2018.

A merger of sorts had been planned for Troy Herfoss to enter a DesmoSport-built V4 R in Penrite colours with ER Motorsports for this season, until it became evident mid-week that the triple ASBK champion and Coote hadn’t formally reached an agreement to go racing on a part-time schedule together this season.
