Naming-rights backing from Omega Appliances will see 2StepRacing become a four-rider roster for the remainder of ASBK 2025, the rebranded Omega Racing Team led by JJ Nahlous in the premier class alongside Will Nassif (Supersport), Mitch Cartwright and Zac Russo (Supersport 300/R3 Cup).

What began as a grassroots, family-run operation centred around rising talent Nahlous, has rapidly grown into a national-level program, now fielding riders across multiple categories in the Mi-Bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) paddock.

The program’s latest chapter is backed by Omega Appliances – a respected Australian kitchen brand established over four decades ago, recognised for delivering high-quality, modern appliances to households nationwide.

“The new sponsorship, for me, is an opportunity to invest in these four riders, give them a chance to share information between them, share data, share experiences – to really try to grow and help them through the season, as well as in their training and development,” commented team principal Maurice Nahlous.

“It’s very expensive, this sport is, so Omega’s sponsorship is an amazing contribution because it really does make a difference. We can do extra training with the boys, really spend some time and not have to worry about the little costs here and there because of this support.”

Nahlous currently sits fourth in the Superbike standings, with the Omega Racing Team set to make its official debut this weekend as ASBK travels to Queensland Raceway for the third stop of the season.
