EAB Racing Team has confirmed that Australian rider Harrison Voight will join the squad for the remaining seven rounds of the 2025 FIM World Supersport Championship (WorldSSP).

The 19-year-old takes over from Italian Bryan D’Onofrio, who had stepped in as a temporary replacement for Loris Veneman during the Italian and Czech rounds earlier this month.

Voight has already made one World Supersport appearance this season, having competed in the opening round at Phillip Island. There, he filled in for the injured Glenn van Straalen with the D34G WorldSSP Racing Team. Despite a crash in race one, he recovered to finish 14th in race two – scoring his first two championship points on home soil.

Now returning to the grid, Voight expressed his excitement about the opportunity, saying he is thrilled to join the Dutch-based EAB Racing Team and is eager to get back on track when the championship resumes in two weeks at the Misano World Circuit.

“I am happy to be joining the EAB Racing Team and I’m really looking forward to making the start in the World Supersport Championship at Misano,” Voight commented. “Thanks to everyone who made this possible – I will do my best!”

While EAB Racing is a new environment for Voight, he will once again be aboard a Ducati Panigale V2 – the same machine he debuted on at the start of the season.

Team manager Pjotr Groenenberg shared his enthusiasm about beginning this new chapter with Voight: “Following the Cremona round, we assessed what and who we needed to successfully finish the season. That’s when Rob Vennegoor recommended Australian rider Harrison Voight to us. We reached out and Harrison eagerly embraced the opportunity.

“Despite being only 19, he already brings a wealth of experience and clearly has the potential to deliver something special. He has previously competed as a stand-in in the World Supersport class at his home round in Australia. In addition to joining our team, he’s also racing in the FIM Moto2 European Championship.”

The addition of Voight to the WorldSSP grid sees him join countrymen Oli Bayliss (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) – who currently sits 14th in the standings – and Luke Power (Motozoo ME Air Racing MV Agusta), five rounds into the 2025 series.
