Agius future secured for Moto2 2026 with Intact GP team

Australian rising star Senna Agius has secured his future in the Moto2 World Championship by extending his contract with Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP through the 2026 season.

The announcement solidifies 20-year-old Agius’s position in the second tier of grand prix racing, setting up for a title bid from next year.

Since arriving in the world championship in 2024, former European champion Agius has displayed remarkable growth to take victory in the 2025 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where he clinched his maiden Moto2 win on an international scale.

“Senna Agius will stay with Intact GP in Moto2 through 2026!” the team revealed. “After a standout rookie campaign and a breakout 2025 season – including a landmark win – we are very much looking forward to another season together.”

Agius currently its sixth in the 2025 standings at the halfway mark, which is led by Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP teammate Manuel Gonzalez entering this weekend’s Grand Prix of Germany at the Sachsenring.
