Immediate Moto3 career in doubt after missing a seat for 2026.
Australian talent Jacob Roulstone has delivered an emotional message to end his time with Red Bull KTM Tech3, with his Moto3 career in doubt after being left without a ride for the 2026 season.
It’s been a challenging two years for the 19-year-old in the MotoGP feeder category, with the New South Welshman having delivered a singular top-five at the Indonesian GP last month, along with four P8 finishes.
A pre-season spinal injury kept him sidelined for the opening two rounds of 2025, before struggling to return to the top 10 consistently throughout this year. A hand injury sustained at the Malaysian GP would send him back to the sidelines in the late season.
Losing his ride with the KTM program has all but sealed his fate in Moto3 for next year.
“Since a little kid, it has been a dream of mine to race for Red Bull KTM,” Roulstone began. “The dream started at my first motocross race on a KTM 50, and continued through racing flat track on their 65s, 85s, and 125s.
“I had my first race in JuniorGP to my last Moto3 race this weekend, all while on a KTM. Unfortunately, our path has come to an end, as well as my time in Moto3. It hasn’t been the easiest of roads, that’s for sure.
“But I’ve been privileged to say that ‘I raced for Red Bull KTM’, and happy to tick off one of little Jacob’s dreams. Thank you for the opportunity.”
He has been medically cleared to race this weekend’s season-finale in Valencia, Spain, looking to climb higher than his current 16th position in the Moto3 series rankings.
