Hepburn Motorsports BMW confirms Allerton's WSBK wildcard

Two-time Australian Superbike Champion to compete at Phillip Island season opener.

Hepburn Motorsports has confirmed the debut of Glenn Allerton in February’s World Superbike round at the world famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Allerton has previously had much success in Australia and Asia and is very excited about the opportunity to compete against the best in the world.

“It has always been a dream of mine to compete on the world stage and to compete against the best riders in the world,” he commented.

“It has been a long time waiting and the team and I really appreciate the opportunity that we have been given and are going to give it our best to show case what talent we have in Australia.”

Crew chief Shane Kinderis is also excited for the event and Allerton’s WSBK debut as a wildcard.

“I’m really excited about our WSBK debut,” he said. “It gives us a great opportunity to showcase ourselves on the world stage . Our partnership with Pirelli has enabled us to get a great feel for the tyres already and this can only help in enabling us up hit the track running.

“I will be giving my Dynotech Dyno a workout in making our BMW as competitive as it can be against the worlds best.”
