Yamaha-mounted Tom Bramich has clinched the Supersport 300 overall victory at The Bend Motorsport Park’s third round of the Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) in South Australia, claiming top honours in race three to ultimately be rewarded with the win.

Bramich stormed to a narrow 0.128s victory over fellow Yamaha-mounted rider Harry Khouri in what was an incredibly tight race that saw the top seven all finish within a second.

KTM’s Seth Crump held on for third by the smallest of margins, edging out Oliver Simpson (Yamaha) and Zac Levy (Yamaha) for the final spot on the podium.

Coming home in sixth was Oli Bayliss (Kawasaki) just ahead of Tayla Relph (Yamaha), while the top 10 was rounded out by Locky Taylor (Yamaha), Ben Baker (Kawasaki) and Travis Hall (Yamaha).

Behind Bramich in the overall standings for the round was Khouri and Hunter Ford (Yamaha), which now sees Bramich control the category by 19 points over Levy. The next stop on the ASBK calendar is set to take place at Hidden Valley Raceway in the Northern Territory on 28 June – 1 July.
