5. Long weekend camping:
One of the really cool things about the Island Classic is that can camp throughout the Australia Day long weekend! There’s no better way to spend the weekend, and being able to sleep trackside and share racing stories is always a good time.

4. Oceania Historic Road Race Cup:
The FIM Oceania Historic Road Race Cup returns to its original format this year, where Australia will take on America. The cup’s competition will focus on the International Challenge, with the top five performers from each country combining their points in a bid to win the crown.

3. Extensive entry list:
Over 400 historic bikes are entered for the 2020 Island Classic, making for a mega weekend of racing. The cool thing about so many entries is that the pits are as entertaining as the on-track action – being able to walk through and see the machinery of yesteryear is an experience in itself.

2. Phil Irving Trophy:
The Phil Irving Perpetual Trophy is up for grabs and will be awarded to the best individual rider outside of the International Challenge. It’s a special accolade that makes every point count across all the categories.

1. International Challenge:
In International Challenge is the major drawcard of the Island Classic, and this year Team UK returns to take on Team USA and Australia. It’s the best of the best – the best riders on the best equipment, and with the line-up on offer for 2020, it’s set to be an interesting one!
