Honda Australia’s Moriwaki designed 250cc GP Mono race bike – the MD250H – is once again competing on tracks across the country as young riders take on the various junior Australian series circuits.

Powered by a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, electric start, single cylinder engine, the MD250H is designed to bridge the gap between junior and senior level racing.

It also features custom fabricated twin-spar aluminium chassis, radial-mount calliper for the front disc brake, Honda’s Pro-Link fully adjustable rear suspension, lightweight wheels, race spec tyres and works-style welded aluminium fuel tank.

15 year olds are eligible to compete on Honda’s smallest GP bike which weighs in at approximately 90 kgs, and can do so at both a local club level as well as in classes of national series such as the Australian Superbike Championships (ASBK) and MRRDA (Motorcycle Road Race Development Association).

Young rider Mike Jones is already making his mark on his Motologic prepared MD250GP after finishing second overall in the combined 125/250GP class at the recent Broadford, VIC round of the MRRDA. Not only did Jones dominate the class, but he also set a new lap record.

The MD250H retails for $14,990 and is available from selected Dealers including Brisbane Motorcycles, Sydney City Motorcycles (Lane Cove), Motologic (VIC), Bills Motorcycles (SA) and Honda Shop (WA).
