Ducati has released a refined Multistrada 1200 for this year.

The 2011 model Ducati Multistrada 1200 has now arrived in Australia, introducing a number of key refinements to what already is a highly acclaimed and awarded motorcycle.

The refinements include various software upgrades for all four versions of the Multistrada 1200, including revisions to the engine management for even smoother engine performance, the dashboard for improved fuel calculation, and the Hands Free for improved On/Off system reaction.

For models with ABS (1200 ABS, 1200 S Sport and Touring models), there’s new ABS software for improved Sport braking.

For the 1200 S Touring model, there are new luggage latches for improved water and dust sealing.

Owners of 2010 model Multistrada 1200 will also get the benefit of these refinements by receiving them completely free of charge. To book their complimentary upgrade, owners should contact their Authorised Ducati Dealer.

“Multistrada 1200 set new benchmarks for the adventure touring market” said Warren Lee, CEO NF Importers. “It introduced the four-bikes-one concept and levels of power, light weight and technology for the segment.

“They say it’s very hard to improve on perfection, but these refinements have done just that, making a perfect motorcycle even better again. 2010 model owners also benefit by receiving a complimentary upgrade of these refinements passing on the improved technology at no cost to our existing customers.”

As with the 2010 Multistrada 1200, the new 2011 model comes complete with a two-year unlimited kilometre warranty, plus a two-year/24 Hour Ducati Rider Roadside Assist and features 24,000km Desmo Service Intervals.
