Suzuki Bandits arrive in Australia

The 2011 Bandit 1250 and ABS-equipped Bandit 1250A are now available.

Suzuki has this week announced that the new 2011 model Bandit 1250 and the ABS Bandit 1250A version is now available in Australia. Here’s the full announcement straight from Suzuki:

The 2011 Bandit 1250 and ABS-equipped Bandit 1250A are now available in Australia, offering an unmatched combination of superior performance, eye-catching style and advanced technology.

Part of Suzuki’s extensive best-selling street bike range, the big bore naked Suzukis are powered by the legendary, compact, 1,255cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled Bandit engine, offering impressive torque and smooth acceleration across a broad powerband.

The Bandit 1250/A performs effortlessly on the open road, with Suzuki’s Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection system delivering impressive throttle response and power delivery along with improved fuel economy and reduced emissions.

Providing the Bandit’s impressive stopping power are the 310mm dual front disc brakes and a 240mm rear disc brake, accompanied by the Antilock Brake System (ABS) on the Bandit 1250A.

The naked styling of the Bandit 1250/A is guaranteed to turn heads, with the matte black engine on display for all to admire.
The Bandit 1250/A’s looks are complimented by a six-speed transmission and 19-litre fuel tank.

The Bandit 1250’s instrument cluster features an analogue tachometer, complemented by a LCD digital speedometer, fuel gauge and clock. It also includes LCD indicators to identify neutral position, oil pressure, high beam, water temperature and gear position.

Both models are now available in a Pearl Black colour scheme for a Recommended Price of $12,090* for the Bandit 1250 and $12,590* for the ABS-equipped Bandit 1250A, backed by Suzukis’ two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
