Honda Australia has released the new CBR125R this month.

Long known as the ideal first bike, the Honda CBR125R has arrived in 2011 boasting sophisticated upgrades suitable for a whole new generation of riders.

Available in Australia this month, the CBR125R is compact, lightweight and blessed with the refinement, ease of use and welcoming handling that has become synonymous with the CBR family.

The CBR125R is powered by a reliable, fuel-efficient, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. New for 2011, this CBR boasts a revised PGM-FI fuel injection system which ensures greater fuel economy and reduced emissions as well as a considerably larger fuel tank to allow a much greater range.

The 2011 CBR125R shows off new body work giving the model a bigger and more impressive presence on the road. A lightweight diamond twin-spar steel frame with sporty geometry has been designed for intuitive and exciting handling which is made even more manageable by a low kerb weight of just 137kg.

It’s a Honda and an exhilarating ride is guaranteed every time due to sportier fairing and wider tyres both front and rear along with the classic sports riding position.

The CBR125R uses a mechanically actuated clutch for fine control and a light feel at the clutch lever. The transmission’s six ratios complement the engine’s flexible power delivery perfectly, giving the CBR125R the performance that riders demand.

Control and a superb ride feel are guaranteed by the CBR125R’s premium suspension components. The front wheel is controlled by a 31mm hydraulic telescopic fork, while the rear tubular steel swingarm mounts to a Monoshock for sporty control and exceptional comfort.

The LAMS approved model features a new exhaust system incorporating an oxygen sensor and a Tri-metal catalytic converter. The catalyser ensures the CBR125R easily complies with emissions legislation.

A brand new hi tech, multi-function digital instrument display gives the CBR125R a polished modern look. Ease is carried through to the electric start which ensures the machine is ready to go at the push of a button.

The new model is also easier to look after, for 2011 the filter that supplies clean fuel to the fuel injection system has been moved outside the fuel tank to make maintenance simpler.

Designed to nurture riders with exciting performance led riding dynamics, the CBR125R gives young riders the opportunity to develop sports riding skills while presenting seasoned riders with a fun, economical commuter machine.

Available in the three striking colour schemes, Terra Silver Metallic, Ross White Tricolour and Asteroid Black Metallic, this CBR will stand out from the crowd.

The nimble but sporty CBR125R retails at a highly competitive $3,990 MLRP.
