BMW's S 1000 RR will come with an Akrapovic muffler for a limited time.

BMW Motorrad has announced that, to celebrate its most awarded motorcycle, for a limited time it is including a genuine Akrapovic slip on muffler with every new BMW S 1000 RR.

This exotic and light weight muffler is made from titanium with a carbon end cap and is valued at RRP $1300.

Further to this, the BMW S 1000 RR is now fitted as standard with Dynamic Traction Control and Race ABS systems at no extra cost.

In a segment where traction control and ABS were slow to find acceptance, the BMW S 1000 RR has managed to advance motorcycle performance and safety systems to a whole new level.

Note that the muffler is not ADR compliant so can only be used at a track.
