Championship leader Matt Walters extended his advantage in the Australian Prostock Championship standings with the overall victory today at Queensland Raceway.

Yesterday’s race one winner Sean Condon (Bikebiz Ipone Swann Insurance Racing Kawasaki) crashed out of the second race, also a non-scorer in the final outing of the weekend.

Fellow front-runner Dustin Goldsmith (Kawasaki) was second in race two today, but he was forced to settle for eighth overall after crashing out of the third race.

Brandon Demmery (CM Racing / NSW Compensation Lawyers / TKD Jeans Kawasaki) won the 250 Production round overall in a convincing performance, finishing second in race two and then adding another victory to his credit in the third.

Defending champion Luke Burgess (Mackay Kawasaki / Kawasaki Australia / Tomsey Racing / KMF) was second overall for the round with a win and a second today, while Tom Bramich (Ron Angel Classic Racing / Tingate Racing Kawasaki) finished third overall for the weekend.

Top Women’s class finisher was Sophie Lovett (Cessnock KTM / Central Coast Harley Davidson / Arai Kawasaki) in an impressive fourth overall for the weekend in her 250 Proddie debut.

The Moto3 category was topped by Callum Barker (Aly-Tek Welding / Power Plus / Ricondi Honda) with a second race win, while Lawson Walters (LMWS / Top Rider / Improtek KTM) had to settle for second overall with a 1-DNF-1 scorecard. Tayla Relph (Honda) rounded out the podium.
