Multiple-time Australian champion Bryan Staring has secured his future with Rivamoto Honda following a positive debut at Phillip Island last month.

Staring’s ride at the Australian round of the World Supersport Championship was a one-off agreement with Rivamoto, however he’s since locked in a longer-term arrangement to complete the 2014 WSS season under the management of Jeremy McWilliams.

“The team have made a commitment and they’ve entered the whole season with me as their number one rider,” Staring told CycleOnline. “I feel like they believe in my ability and are confident we can achieve great things together.”

Staring qualified 10th and was battling toward a top five finish in Phillip Island’s shortened WSS affair, eventually exiting the race with clutch problems following the re-start for a five-lap dash.
