Repsol Honda’s reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez says the stunning new production Honda RC213V-S for the street has many similarities to his factory MotoGP race bike.

Marquez was a special guest during today’s launch of the RC213V-S in Barcelona alongside teammate Dani Pedrosa, detailing his impressions from a test during the development phase.

“I had the opportunity to ride the bike,” Marquez confirmed. “The position is like MotoGP and is nice to ride – I enjoyed it a lot. I got my knee down and elbow too – I was able to ride in the mid-corner like MotoGP even though I was on street tyres.

“The opportunity to ride this bike was really nice. It’s really similar to our bike and they worked with it on the track, now passing it onto the street bike and it’s a really nice opportunity for people who want to ride a MotoGP bike.”
