Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Cameron Beaubier will make his long-awaited return to Europe this weekend when he deputises for Australian Damian Cudlin in the IDM Superbike Championship.

Beaubier, 22, is currently tied for the lead with teammate Josh Hayes in the 2015 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship, and will contest the Schleizer Dreieck round of IDM with Team Yamaha MGM.

“I’m really looking forward to riding a new track!” Beaubier said. “I haven’t been in Europe since 2009 and I miss it. I’ve only watched some videos of the track, so I will need to learn it quickly. As for the team, I’ve heard nothing but good things about them and am looking forward to meeting them!”

Beaubier was teammate to Marc Marquez at Red Bull KTM in the 2009 125cc World Championship, before returning to the US and becoming the Daytona SportBike (now Supersport) champion in 2013. He finished third in his rookie Superbike season last year.

Also on the team for this weekend will be Superstock 1000 FIM Cup regular Kev Coghlan in place of Max Neukirchner. Coghlan will remain for Assen, while BSB contender Josh Brookes will take over from Beaubier at that round.
