All-new models due for June and October arrivals into Australia.
Suzuki Australia has officially announced pricing of the 2017 GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R models, due to arrive locally in the coming months of this year.
The GSX-R1000 will be released in late June for $21,990 plus on-road costs ($23,990 ride-away) and the GSX-R1000R will be available in October for $25,490 plus on-roads ($27,490 ride-away).
Sixteen years since the launch of the first GSX-R1000 in 2001, the sixth-generation machine has had a total redesign in terms of both the engine and chassis. There are two versions of the new contender – the base-model GSX-R1000 and the up-spec GSX-R1000R – and both are now equipped with leading electronic technology.
CycleOnline.com.au rode the new GSX-R10000R earlier this year during the international press launch held at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. Click here to read our Review posted directly afterwards.
