Special release Isle of Man edition helmet available for pre-order.
Cassons, the Australian distributor of Arai, has unveiled the 2019 Isle of Man TT Limited Edition RX-7V, which is now available for pre-order and is due to land in dealerships this May.
Arai’s Isle of Man TT Races Limited Edition RX-7V is the latest in the line of stunning, collectible helmets which began in 2007.
Renowned designer Drudi Performance has ramped up the colour this year with fluorescent yellow set against black with the three legs of man, the famous triskelion, picked out in gunmetal on either side. Details include the TT logo on the chin bar and Isle of Man Limited Edition printed on the back, set below atmospheric black and white chequers.
Arai, reflecting the company’s commitment to the relentless pursuit of gains in protection is extremely popular with TT racers. The majority of TT racers choose to wear Arai in 2019 including Michael Dunlop, Ian Hutchinson, Conor Cummins, Davey Todd, Derek McGee, David Johnson and Lee Johnston with sidecar racers Ben and Tom Birchall, John Holden and Lee Cain, and Tim Reeves and Mark Wilkes.
The RX-7V represents the summit of Arai’s knowledge, experience and know-how in helmet technology. With a PB-SNC outer shell, the revolutionary VAS (Variable Axis System) visor system and a significant increased smoother area around the temples, the RX-7V offers the benchmark in the premium helmet segment.
From the Antimicrobial liner with an even slimmer frame, to the ducts, improved diffuser and the integrated air channels, every part shows the attention to detail that is so typical for Arai.
Arai has continually improved the ‘glancing off’ performance by learning from real scenarios. Thanks to the stronger and smoother shell and VAS, the RX-7V is closer to the ideal helmet shape than ever. Priced at RRP $1449.95, more information can be found at www.cassons.com.au.
