Strong representation across all classes entering the new season.
Australia will have a strong representation across four categories in next year’s FIM Superbike World Championship, with the official 2026 entry list confirming riders in WorldSBK, WorldSSP, WorldSPB, and WorldWCR.
Former Moto2 champion Remy Gardner will once again spearhead the Australian presence in WorldSBK, the 27-year-old set to remain with the GYTR GRT Yamaha squad aboard a YZF-R1 for his fourth term.
Gardner concluded his 2025 campaign 11th in the WorldSBK standings, one position down on his 2024 result of 10th. His best showing came at Assen, where he claimed a season-best third place in race two.
In World Supersport (WorldSSP), rising talent Oli Bayliss will remain with PTR Triumph Racing for a second-straight year. The 22-year-old finished 14th in the 2025 standings, with a best result of fourth in race two at Balaton Park.
In the newly-introduced Sportbike World Championship (WorldSPB), 18-year-old Carter Thompson will headline Yamaha’s effort aboard a YZF-R7 after signing with the BR Corse outfit, with Taiyo Aksu set to join Pata AG Motorsport Italia also onboard an R7.
Set for her third Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) campaign, Tayla Relph has once again committed to being on the grid after securing 10th in this year’s final standings after claiming a single top-five result at Assen.
The 2026 WorldSBK season will get underway at Phillip Island from February 20-22, before continuing through a 12-round calendar across Europe, concluding in Jerez, Spain, between October 16-18.
