Australian Road & Track Rider Promotions (ARTRP) has announced that the 2016 Swann Insurance Australasian Superbike Championship will feature an increased television structure next season.

The series has benefited from extensive free-to-air and pay TV coverage in Australia during recent seasons across SBS Speedweek and Fox Sports – including the premier Superbike division and all supporting categories.

International viewers are also able to tune into FX-ASC competition, including over 30 European countries, the United States, Canada, South America, United Kingdom and New Zealand. Next year the series will also be broadcast in South East Asia as part of the increased schedule.

“We are proud to be associated with the Australasian Superbike Championship series, the premium motorcycle race series in the country,” commented AVE Pty Ltd managing director Greg Sita in a series press release.

“We are especially excited about the great racing entertainment that the series brings to our shows viewers both here in Australia and worldwide via Speedweek and the standalone motor racing programs on SBS and Fox Sports along with the Catch Up TV, SBS on Demand and the MotorsportsTV app website.”

As previously announced, this year’s final round of the 2015 season at Sydney Motorsport Park will be broadcast for a total of three hours live on Fox Sports from 5-8:00pm AEST on Saturday, 5 December.

Along with the unrivaled television package, each round of the FX-ASC is streamed live online via a number of motorcycle websites including CycleOnline.com.au nationally and the MotorsportsTV app.
